More blog posts please!

22 Nov 2021

As our resident Monday writer is absent today, we thought we’d use it to try and encourage others to write a post.

All our daily blog posts are written by our members because we believe you are the best people to give advice and help by sharing your experiences with other members. All those who have submitted blog posts previously have said how lovely it is getting feedback from other members on the site.

If you have a story to tell, some advice to give or an experience to share, let us know. Please send your blog post to We don't have many rules, but we do ask that your blog is 500 words or less and we prefer to steer clear of politics and religion!

If you have an idea and are not sure whether it's suitable, just ask us to take a look and we'll let you know. All contributions will be reviewed and may be edited if necessary before publishing.

We'll let you know when we're sending your blog out so that you can reply to member's comments if you wish.

Posts on the Moodscope blog are visible to non-members but all comments are only seen by Moodscope members so please feel confident to join in knowing that your thoughts will stay within the Moodscope community.

Good morning Caroline I have my next post ready to send if you want it now. Next Saturday is fine by me. Calling all Modscopers "There is a book in everyone" so the saying goes. In fact you don't need many words to write a post. I had been a member for many years before I wrote my first post a few months ago. I have enjoyed "meeting" other members through their comments. It has been quite therapeutic for me. Your post can be based on a very simple idea. Don't worry if the idea have been used before. Have a go--you may be pleasantly surprised!

Teg, I keep all my published blogs in my in-box. Two reasons, go back over them to try to ensure that I do not repeat myself, and to re-read the extraordinary range of responses i have received over the years. Never know if a subject with raise interest, agreement, protest! The communication for me is a life-line.

TG I have retained mine ( although not so many as yours). After a few years is it worth repeats?

I hope dear Lex is not indisposed - or did I miss something. My OH and I are in a cottage down on the Kent coast for a few days getaway. We have had a fairly sh***y few weeks and thought we would treat ourselves to a complete escape. I am feeling a lot better now, though I did have to up my antidepressants to get there. ;-) I hope all our Moodscopers, in the northern hemisphere at least, are not too daunted but the onset of winter. Sending waves to one and all. Another Sally x

Sorry to hear of your few sh####y weeks, Another Sally. Getting away was a good decision I think. I am glad Lex responded, because I was thinking the same thing, that he might be unwell. Hi, Lex! I hope you are ok. X

Not in the slightest, Sally Dear! But, "Hey, Ho, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger," doesn't it? I'm not sure Nietzsche really said the, "Hey, Ho," bit. Thanks for caring. Lx
